Unless other arrangements have been made in advance with us, the cost to upgrade your copy of NL-DOS to NL-Windows will be $395 per copy of Natural Log DOS. The upgrade includes a data conversion module to import your NL-DOS data into NL-Windows format so no data reentry should be necessary.
The transition from the keyboard-driver fast NL-DOS to the point-and-click mouse driven slow NL-Windows may be difficult for longtime NL-DOS users. All existing NL-DOS users will be offered a free 60-day trial of the NL-Windows system during which they can run the 2 systems side-by-side before committing to purchase the upgrade. Once the upgrade is purchased though, users will not be able to return to the NL-DOS system.
Upgrading is strictly optional and NL-DOS will still be fully supported and sold into the foreseeable future, at least as long as Microsoft continues to include DOS capability in Windows releases.
